applicare modello a file esistente

Ciao a tutti. Premetto umili scuse se, come temo, il tema è trito & ritrito,
ma una veloce googlata non mi ha consentito di trovare risposta: ho un doc
aperto secondo il normale modello normal.dot e voglio applicargli il modello
miomod.dot, che tra l'altro contiene uno sfondo filigrana stampata con la
carta intestata. Finora risolvo con il banale shift+ctrl+fine per
evidenziare il tutto, ctrl+c per copiarlo, ctrl+f6 per passare al doc vuoto
aperto in precedenza secondo il modello miomod.dot, e ctrl+v per incollare
il tutto, ma mi sembra una procedura un pò troglodita. Con applica stile non
risolvo un tubo, forse cambia qualche carattere ma gli sfondi non compaiono.
Un aiuto da parte di qualche anima buona?

Temo di avere capito il perchè, vedi la parte tra gli asterischi...:
Applying Templates to Existing Documents
Often (especially if you perform work for third parties) you need to learn
how to apply a different template to an existing document. When you apply
another template to your current document, you can use the styles, AutoText
entries, macros, custom toolbars, and shortcut keystrokes from the other
template. This means tht you don't have to recreate those items for your
current document. ***(Boilerplate text and graphics from the attached
template are not available, however.)*** Here's the procedure:

1.. On the Tools menu, click Templates and Add-Ins.


2.. Click Attach.

3.. Select the template you want.

4.. Click Open.

5.. To use styles from the newly attached template, select the
Automatically Update Document Styles checkbox in the Templates and Add-Ins
dialog box.

Word adds the styles from the template to the document. If styles in the
document and template have the same names, Word updates the document styles
to match the template styles.
